Alex was nominated for a Critics' Choice Award for Best Supporting Actor for his performance alongside Antonio Banderas in the Fox 21 / Nat Geo limited series Genius: Picasso (executive produced by Ron Howard & Brian Grazer). He is often recognized for his recurring role on the critically acclaimed Netflix comedy series GLOW, where he plays the dim-witted but lovable butler, "Florian," and recently starred alongside Steve Carell and Domhnall Gleeson as Elias in FX's hit series, The Patient, on Hulu.
Alex began his career in the second season of HBO's True Detective, played a supporting lead role in the Lionsgate feature film The Honor List, and recently starred in the upcoming indie feature Swipe.
